Safety Culture - A Way of Life

Safety is our primary commitment at Larrett Energy Services, Inc., and it begins with the continuity of communication, teamwork, and the desire to strive for continuous improvement.

"Nothing is so important that we jeopardize one’s safety to meet goals.”

Through management’s commitment, field supervision, and effective communication, our team produces a high level of motivation for the safety and health of our staff throughout our organization.  It is embedded into the fabric of our safety culture with all our personnel on day one that no task is to be completed without personal safety being at the forefront.

Safety, Health & Environmental Training

Investing in our work family is crucial in maintaining an effective safety program beginning with our frontline technicians to our leadership.  We strive to positively build good relationships with our work family to impact the importance and commitment to safety training.  Training begins from day one with our safety orientation that meets and/or exceeds OSHA requirements and industry standards/guidelines.  Once employees are released to the field, we provide continuous oversight with our tenured supervision guiding our employees through on-the-job training in our pipeline and distribution field operations.  We provide in-house training with qualified trainers and certified instructors covering numerous training topics, including First Aid, CPR & AED Training, PEC Basic Orientation, PEC H2S Clear, etc.…

Qualifications & Certifications

For our equipment operators, welders, fusers, and testing technicians, Operator Qualifications courses are provided, and certifications are obtained as pipeline covered operation tasks require under the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA).  These covered operation tasks require extensive additional safety and operational training.  Testing and evaluation of training are conducted to ensure the safety of our employees, the public, our environment, and the quality of work performed.   Our management team and field supervisor professionals are provided professional development courses to help our team succeed.  Many of these development courses are part of a program where professional certifications are achieved upon completion.  We also provide avenues for our supervision to complete instructor courses acquiring proficient skills to instruct both in the classroom and in the field.  These professional development skills enhance our company’s ability to grow and maintain a strong and effective Safety Program.

Safety Performance - (The proof is in the pudding)

“The proof is in the pudding” … a phrase that pretty much says it all when it comes to the effectiveness of the Safety Program implemented here at Larrett Energy Services, Inc.  We review the implementation of our safety program in action using inspections and audits to verify the intended results.  At the core of our Safety Program is the requirement for continuous improvement as there is always room to grow for the safety of our personnel.  Ensuring we never lose sight of that heightened awareness is key to ensuring complacency remains a thing of the past.  We strive to serve as the benchmark for our industry concerning our safety performance.
